October Charity of the Month: Feral Cat Rescue Project
"Chriss Pagani, the creator of the Feral Cat Rescue Project, is an award-winning fine art painter, photographer, and photo-documentarian based on the Oregon Coast. She left a successful career to devote herself to the feral cats that she found roaming the area where she parked her RV home at her sister's farm.
Having lost her beloved cat to a tragic death, her grief drove her to begin caring for these unloved, unwanted kitties. She feeds the ferals twice a day, traps them regularly for trips to the vet to be spayed/neutered (all at her own expense), and when she captures sick kittens, she tries to nurse them back to health and find homes for them.
She refers to her early life as a feral existence, having lived homeless and without necessities for much of her childhood. She identifies wholeheartedly with these homeless creatures and has given herself to help as much as possible."
