1. Help Protect Rabbits in the UK

Animal welfare organizations are asking the government to introduce a code of practice detailing the proper requirements for taking care of rabbits in the UK. Sadly, thousands of rabbits are finding themselves in rescues after people realize they require more care than they thought and they're believed to be one of the most neglected pets.

2. Support Overturning Prince George County's Breed Ban

Last week the White House came out with an official statement opposing breed discrimination and breed specific legislation. In nearby Prince George County a pit bull ban has been in place for years, which has not only been deemed ineffective, but has also proven to be insanely expensive – with pit bulls paying the ultimate price with their lives.

3. Help Shut Down Norwegian Fur Farms

The government in Norway has agreed to appoint a commission to examine whether an estimated 270 fur farms should be allowed to continue operating in Norway. 

Following many horrific instances of animal cruelty, animal advocates are welcoming the move and hope to see fur farms shut down.
