1. Fed Who Tortured Coyote in Trap Goes Unpunished

Photos of Wildlife Services trapper Jamie Olson showed his dogs mauling trapped coyotes, along with other gruesome images. Despite national outcry from the public, Olson will face no consequences for his sickening actions. Newly leaked documents also indicate that the government tried to cover this up. 

Please send a letter to Secretary Vilsack letting him know that torturing wildlife is inexcusable and investigations into cases like this need to be conducted quickly and with transparency.

2. Help Stop Southern Illinois University's Pig Lab

Until this month, SIU was using human-based training methods to teach students in its emergency medicine residency program, but now it's using pigs. A complaint was filed by PCRM, which argued that the school is violating the Animal Welfare Act by using live animals when alternatives are available. 

Please send a letter to the school asking it to stop the cruel practice of using pigs and go back to non-animal methods immediately.

3. Speak Out Against the Latest and Still Dangerous Farm Bill

The last version of the Farm Bill with the King Amendment didn't pass, but the latest version  still includes the controversial King Amendment, which will undermine animal welfare laws and take away states' abilities to protect animals. 

Please ask your lawmakers to reject the King Amendment.
