1. Help Shut Down Abusive "Zoo"

GuZoo Animal Farm in Alberta has had problems with animal care since it was licensed in 1990 and have been making the news ever since. Issues there range from unsanitary conditions, unexplained deaths, injuries to animals and visitors and dead carcasses laying around to wildlife trafficking, among other things. Problems were brought to light again last week when photos and video taken by an anonymous whistleblower were published online by the Council of Concerned Albertans for Animal Welfare and Public Safety (CCAAWPS). 

Please sign the petition urging Canadian authorities to shut this place down once and for all.

2. Tell the University of Texas' Medical Branch to Stop Torturing Goats

The University of Texas' Medical Branch is using live goats to teach students in its Advanced Trauma Life Support (ATLS) program how to perform a variety of procedures before killing these goats. There are a number of humane alternatives to teach students in these programs, including the TraumaMan System, which the university already owns. 

Please send a letter to the medical school dean and course director asking them to stop using goats and switch to humane alternatives.

3. Help Protect Western Wolves

With the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service's plan to remove endangered species protection from nearly all wolves in the lower 48, these iconic predators face even more threats from hunters and state agencies in  states that are hostile towards wolves. Wildearth Guardians has launched a Howlin' Summer campaign to tell Western governors that wolf recovery isn't over. 

Please join the campaign and send a letter to lawmakers asking them to stand up for wolves and oppose Fish and Wildlife Service's proposal to delist them.
