2. Tell Congress to Protect Polar Bears Now Before it’s Too Late

It’s sad to think that polar bears could disappear within our lifetime. While they’re already facing the threat of habitat loss due to climate change, some are still pushing for oil and gas exploration in the Arctic and Chukchi Sea, two critical habitats for polar bears.

Sign the petition telling decision makers to protect polar bear habitats.

3. Help Hammerhead and Oceanic Whitetip Sharks

As top predators, sharks play an important role in the ecosystem. “Up to 73 million sharks are killed every year for their fins, valued for the Asian delicacy shark fin soup,” according to Pew Environmental Group. These two sharks are listed as Endangered and Critically Endangered, yet they’re still killed and their populations are dwindling.

Tell the National Marine Fisheries Service to act now and support global trade restrictions to protect these species.
