1. Ask Safari Pet Center to Stop Selling Puppy Mill Puppies

Even though other cities have enacted bans on selling puppies from pet stores, Safari Pet Center continues to be sell puppies from mills, while telling consumers they are from registered breeders. 

Please sign the petition urging this store to start working with shelters and rescues to help find dogs homes, instead of supporting those who mass produce dogs for a profit.

2. Help Protect Carriage Horses in Georgia

For the past two years Against Atlanta Horse Drawn Carriages has been documenting a lack of enforcement of the laws designed to protect the city's carriage horses, along with law enforcement demonstrating a lack of knowledge about humane care and the laws. 

Please sign the petition asking city officials to either ensure that the laws protecting horses are enforced, or if that's not feasible to shut down those in the industry.

3. Tell the USDA Organic Program to Make Animal Welfare a Priority

The USDA recently announced that it won't be acting on recommendations made by its own National Organic Standards Board to strengthen  animal welfare criteria for the National Organic Program. Over and over it's been shown that consumers will pay more for products they believe are humane. Not strengthening regulations for organic products will not only hurt animals, but will create an unfair market for "real" organic farmers. 

Please sign the petition asking the USDA to stand up for producers, consumers and animals by strengthening animal welfare regulations.
