1. Tell Canada to Call Off the Seal Hunt

Canada’s seal hunt is the single largest slaughter of marine mammals on earth. Much to the dismay of those around the world, and a majority of Canadians, who have been fighting to stop the senseless killing, this year they’ve increased the number to be killed by 80,000, bringing the total to a horrifying ,200. Not only do seals suffer from the threat of hunters, but climate change is leaving them with less ice to survive on, give birth and nurse their young.

Send a letter to Canada’s Prime Minister asking him to call off the hunt once and for all.

2. Ask Donna Karan to Stop Using Bunny Fur

Apparently Donna Karan didn’t get the memo that rabbit fur only looks good on rabbits. Despite saying she would stop over two years ago, she is still using rabbit fur in her clothing line. Numerous other designers have seen the cruelty inherent to the fur trade and have ditched the trend.

Tell Donna Karan to join the compassionate designers who have stopped using fur.

3. Tell Congress to Take a Stand for Gorillas

International conservation efforts have done great things for endangered gorillas who are vulnerable to a number of threats from hunting and warfare to a loss of habitat. Now, federal lawmakers want to cut funding for foreign aid biodiversity, which would also adversely affect other species, such as the rhinoceros, sea turtles and tigers.

Ask Congress to support biodiversity to promote the protection of species who need it the most.
