APPEAL from Meow or Never: Saving Kittens

Small is beautiful and they don't come smaller than kittens. Its Meow or Never is raising funds to save six kittens from a kill shelter. They are on a mission to raise $25 for each kitten and would welcome your help. it doesn't need to be a whole $25, although that would be GREAT. Any spare cash, change, or whatever you have might help keep a kitten from harm and give it a chance of a good life.

It's Meow or Never - the Auction

An appeal went out some time ago for EFA members to offer contributions for ItsMeoworNever the animal rescue and sanctuary. EFA members responded and make up a good proportion of the quality auction items. Ebay is hosting the official charity auction here and it is WELL worth checking out.

This is not an auction of cast off knick knacks - It is full of practical and useful items. It has a selection of (mostly) EFA donated jewellery, vouchers, tickets, a wonderful selection of dried mixes including restful Lavender, CATNIP! and Dog biscuit mix. There are chances to bid on a professional web page design, candles, bird houses and tropical tans! There is, literally something for everyone and something to suit even the most modest of pockets.

EFA members contributing include, after a quick glance, NanjoDogz, Whskr, DesignbySunzeri.

I would love to credit more EFA sellers who contributed - so if you did - let us know and I will shine the spotlight on you!

Illuminata glows with the two colours I like for Christmas, Red and Gold. Her hand dyed fabric is a deep red that sets off the huge golden bodice of re-purposed jewellery fragment and the golden beads along the hem of her gown. This girl is not for whimps and will make a real statement on a jacket lapel and she will steal the show for you at any Christmas party you wear her too!

10% of all my sales goes to the Etsy for Animals charity of the month and I am proud to be able to make this contribution. I think that we sellers who don't sell huge amounts tend to forget that the little amounts we all make build to make one 'big' amount for the charity we support each month. We should all be proud of what we do for animals and hold our heads high for our cause - EFA!

I'd like to nominate a charity for CotM some time in the future, the Yellow Eyed Penguin Trust. I will find out more details on their work here in New Zealand and then let you know.

I did it again!

I am currently in the process of helping to organise the EFA pre-Christmas promotion but, while i was browsing I accidentally managed to get myself another Treasury in Jared's hot house flower "Treasury West" I have made it a Christmas one and included some etsyforanimals sellers :- beaderroneous fabulous Crystal bracelet and the lovely set of gingercat ACEO's. It's a nice selection and comments are welcome!
