1. Speak Up for Canada's Grizzly Bears

Canada's grizzly bear populations are small, fragmented and face an unnaturally high level of deaths from human causes. Because of the continued threats they face, the government is considering listing them as a Species of Special Concern under the Species at Risk Act. 

Please send a letter in support of taking steps to safeguard grizzlies and their habitat and prevent them from going endangered.

2. Support Big Steps for Mexican Gray Wolf Recovery 

Fifteen years after being reintroduced there are only an estimated 75 in the wild, yet the Fish and Wildlife Service considers them to be a nonessential and experimental population. They deserve the full protection of the Endangered Species Act, but the FWS is only taking small steps to change the way they're being managed. 

Please send a letter in support of changing the designation of these wolves and their ability to roam outside of recovery areas.

3. Help End the Primate Trade

Hundreds of non-human primates who are used in the entertainment industry or kept as pets often wind up in situations where they are no longer useful or wanted. Some may be killed, while other fortunate ones go to sanctuaries. Legislation is currently being considered that would help protect non-human primates and ease the burden for sanctuaries by ending interstate commerce of primate species in the exotic pet trade. 

Please send a letter to your representative asking them to support the Captive Primate Safety Act.
