Many exotic animals are forced to travel with circuses and other exhibitors, while being denied having their basic physical and psychological needs met. These animals are also the victims of abuse and neglect simply for the purpose of entertainment.
Sign the petition asking your reps to support the Traveling Exotic Animal Protection Act to end the cruelty.

Since the creation of the International Whaling Commission in 1986, more governments have begun to oppose whaling, which led to the moratorium on commercial whaling in 1986, and later the creation of the Southern Ocean Whale Sanctuary. Unfortunately, Japan continues to use a loophole in the moratorium banning under the guise of scientific research. Now, Japan is using tsunami relief funds (about $29 million) to continue the slaughter.
Sign the petition telling Japan's Fisheries Agency that this is a flagrant and inhumane misuse of funds that benefits a few, instead of those who really need it.

Thousands of dolphins are slaughtered off the coast of Japan every year, which has gone largely unnoticed by the public until the documentary The Cove came out. The ones who aren't slaughtered are taken for aquariums and the slaughter will continue until the fishermen are no longer gaining financially.
Sign the petition telling the World Association for Zoos and Aquariums to expel the Japanese Association of Zoos and Aquariums, along with facilities that have bought dolphins from these hunts.
