I'm a die-hard animal lover. I go out of my way to help animals - like when I made my best friend go back through a fast food drive-by to get a plain hamburger so I could feed a cat sitting next to a dumpster. Now, my friend thinks the cat was only stopping to enjoy the ambiance wafting from the dumpster - I, on the other hand, was convinced it was starving and needed ME to save it. The cat ran from the hamburger and my friend made fun of me for days.

Then there was the dog living in the woods behind the office where I used to work. Although she wouldn't let me near her, I fed her and named her Stella. When Stella had puppies and then disappeared, I took the puppies home with me and set my alarm for every 3 hours to feed those puppies - my daughter Renee helped. A lot of love and a lot of work - and then adoption to forever homes for those beautiful babies.
If you've been to my Etsy store, Rendachs, you've met a couple of my dachshunds. Primmie is the star of the show - and the plush items I make are a mere backdrop to her beauty. I also have some older rescue dogs and a couple of feral cats that I've had to capture to have spayed. I'm surprised they still hang around after that harrowing experience !

My Etsy store is a reflection of how I think animals should be treated. Lots of cushy Snuggle Sacks, warm blankets, toys and comfy cart covers for taking your best friend shopping in style. I like things personalized - so I offer the same for your four legged babies. Nothing is too good for our loyal companions.
I think EFA is a great group and I'm proud to be part of it. I've never met an animal I didn't like....... Oh wait ! Frogs. I don't like frogs... those slimy little sucker feet creep me out :(
