1. Protect Yellowstone's Wolves

Hunters have already killed 10 wolves from Yellowstone National Park and conservationists are worried about the fate of the population and how the loss will affect long-term research and wolf-loving park visitors. Wyoming's plan will only allow for 100 wolves to live outside of the park and the Wind River Indian Reservation and 54 have already been killed in the state. Unfortunately, many wander outside of park and reservation boundaries where they are fair game for hunters. 

Please send a letter to officials asking them to create a buffer around the park and reservation to keep wolves safe.

2. Tell the Texas Police to Stop Using Deadly Force on Pets

Far too many stories of pets becoming the victims in fatal police shootings have been making headlines. Some departments agree and are starting to offer specialized training to teach officers about animal behavior and how to respond to in different situations. Fort Worth, Texas is one of the cities where police are being proactive and now residents are calling on the Texas Commission on Law Enforcement Officer Standards and Education to implement statewide training for offers.

3. Ask Nancy Pelosi to Stop Selling Veal

U.S. Representative Nancy Pelosi, the House Minority Leader, is an investor in the Moana Restaurant Group that serves veal in four of its restaurants, each called "Piatti." 

Please send a letter asking Pelosi to stop serving veal and enforce a no veal policy.

4. Protect Puget Sound Orcas

Known as the "Southern Resident Killer Whales," a group of orcas was placed on the endangered species list in 2005 an effort to protect the small and unique population. Now, farmers are petitioning the NOAA to remove them because they're bad for the other industries.  

Please sign the petition asking NOAA not to delist this population.
