1. Help Keep Banff's Grizzly Bears and Other Wildlife Safe

Plans for developing a ski-area in sensitive grizzly bear habitat in Banff National Park are underway and conservationists are working hard to ensure that a previous agreement to avoid using the area in the summer to protect wildlife is upheld. 

Please submit a comment asking that this agreement not be overturned and that park ecosystems are protected.

2. Prevent the Senseless Killing of Wild Animals

Wardens from the California Department of Fish and Game recently killed two mountain lion cubs, instead of using taking non-lethal actions. It is believed the two cubs were orphaned, which is why they were found searching for shelter near the edge of downtown Half Moon Bay. 

Please sign the petition asking the Department of Fish and Game to implement protocols for handling wildlife and to work with local wild animal rescue organizations in the future.

3. Tell North Dakota to Start Protecting Animals

North Dakota remains one of the states with the weakest animal protection laws. They had the chance to change it by voting on a ballot initiative that would have meant tougher penalties for animal abusers, but they didn't pass it.  

Please sign the petition asking North Dakota to join the states that take animal cruelty seriously and update its animal protection laws.
